About Us

History

We have been active in the hobby since 1987, growing up in Orange County, CA just a few miles from where PSA started grading cards back in 1991. We were early fans and customers of PSA, but grew disappointed with the quality of the PSA 10 cards. Many of the PSA 10 cards received should not have even be slabbed to begin with due to obvious visible imperfections making the cards 7’s at best In reality. In 2022 there were no options for grading less expensive “Junk Wax” or common cards for set builders. There are millions of cards people would like to grade, but it makes no sense to spend $20-$50 to grade a card that would have a $10 value after it was graded. We want to give people that option. We are a niche card grading company, specializing in vintage cards from 1970-1992. We are not trying to compete with the 3 letter companies or even care about what they are doing, we are purely focused on our own mission.

Mission

Our mission is “making card grading affordable and available to junk wax collectors and set builders”. Anyone can send cards in anytime, no membership fees, or any other extra fees, just our flat rate.

Standards

We have Strict grading standards, published on this website for the public to see. The quality of our service and our reputation are very important to us.

Ethics

All of our customers are treated the same, no matter how many cards are submitted. We follow Christian morals/values and are not subject to the corruption you will find with some of the 3 letter grading companies. We do not have multiple owners/shareholders to answer to, so we can stay on track with our mission.
